We had a great turn out for our First Walk on Wednesday of the year. This was part of our Walk to School Week 2024, when we encourage the children to walk, scoot or cycle to school. The Junior Infants and Senior Infants participated in a Scooter Workshop with Laura from An Taisce, the previous week and had lots of practice indoors and outdoors on their scooters.
It was wonderful to see so many children and parents walking through the village in their High-Vis vests. We look forward to having another Walk on Wednesday soon.
